Biography

Dr. Lisa Hehenberger is an Associate Professor in the department of Strategy and General Management at ESADE, and Director of the Entrepreneurship Institute. She is a renowned expert on social entrepreneurship, venture philanthropy, impact investment and entrepreneurship. At ESADE she teaches social entrepreneurship & impact investing (CEMS, MBA), entrepreneurship (EMBA), entrepreneurship in the Master of Research, as well as numerous executive courses. Dr. Hehenberger is a member of the Impact & Sustainable Finance Faculty Consortium set up by Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, and a member of CNBC’s Disruptor 50 Advisory Council – a group of leading thinkers in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. She is also a member of the Academic Working Group on Impact Measurement and Management of CASE at Duke with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Dr. Hehenberger has a PhD in management from IESE Business School and a master’s degree in business and economics from Stockholm School of Economics and HEC (CEMS). Previously she worked in investment banking at Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) in London and at GB Investment Banking in Madrid, and Barcelona.

Biography

Antje Biber is Head of SDG Office of FERI AG and a member of the management board. She oversees the group’s sustainability strategy in the SDG Office, which is the groupwide competence and strategy center for all ESG, SDG and Impact related activities of FERI.

She has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry and has built up a global network of international institutions and private investors who are market leaders in the field of sustainability and impact-oriented investing. She works with global leading research institutions like the UN Decade Oceans and is a Member of the German Association of Impact Investing. 

She thus combines her international network of the best-known impact investors in Europe with her knowledge of institutional requirements and private family office preferences. Antje has a comprehensive management experience, including international leadership committees, company acquisitions, restructuring measures as well as M&A transactions.

She is a founding member and chairwoman of the board of B.L.U.E. Germany, a non-profit association supporting education and environmental protection.

Previous stations of her career in the financial industry include the Skandia Group, BNP Paribas and S&P Fund Services.

Biography

Laure is an investment professional with 25 years of experience in the financial sector, specialized in sustainability and impact. A former investment banker, she started working in 1995 at Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP) in Equity Advisory, then joined ABN AMRO Rothschild in 2000, first in Paris where she structured equity transactions, and from 2001 in London where she directed marketing and syndication of equity and equity-linked transactions. Laure moved to The Netherlands in 2005 and worked as an independent consultant in strategy and financial advisory. In parallel, she remained involved in various impact initiatives as a volunteer. From 2013 to 2018, she was head of investments at Cordaid, an INGO based in The Netherlands, and led the transformation into a fully independent impact fund. Since 2018 she works as an impact advisor and non-executive director. Laure is Chairman of the Board of Directors and member of the audit committee of REGMIFA (Regional MSME investment fund in Sub-Saharan Africa) since May 2019. Laure established the Netherlands Advisory Board on impact investing (Stichting NAB) and is its Managing Director since 2020.
