The new Dutch fund plans to invest in profitable companies in north-western Europe that contribute to sustainability but need growth capital to expand.

There are currently 712 private equity impact managers, who have raised a combined €214bn in capital in the past decade, Phenix Capital said in its latest impact report.

Lita, the impact crowd funding platform, has launched an asset management company and its first impact fund, raising €25m to date.

An investment in Sahyadri Farms is part of the Swiss impact investor’s second Sustainable Food Asia fund, which aims to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers, promote sustainable food production, and boost agricultural value chains. 

The gender lens fund has received more than €9m in investment from M&G Investments reaching its fundraising target of €50m, five years after launch.

The LGPS fund’s investment will go towards building affordable housing in the north-west of England, as waiting lists for social housing continue to rise.

The investment will help support Vietnamese companies to move to clean energy sources as the country seeks to reduce its reliance on fossil fuel power.

New Forests has raised A$600m at final close for the Australia New Zealand Landscapes and Forestry Fund, with commitments from institutional investors from across Europe and Asia-Pacific.
