NAB Breakfast Inspiration: Impact investing in Africa

As Africa cements its position as a competitive investment destination, managing currency risk remains a crucial challenge for investors. Exchange rate volatility can significantly impact financial returns, affecting both corporate and impact-driven investors, as well as ventures operating across the continent. Addressing these concerns is vital to fostering trust, enhancing financial resilience, and unlocking Africa’s vast investment potential.
In collaboration with the Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC), NAB presents the Impact Investing in Africa – Strategies to deal with FX Risk. This session will be hosted by TCX and will take place in the morning of 3 April from 08:00-10:00 AM at the KIT in Amsterdam.

The combination of public funds and private financing for the development of impact investment has great additionality, as it allows to expand the frontier of venture capital and contribute to improve the ecosystem of attracting funds for the achievement of the SDGs from the private sector perspective.
The objective of this gathering is to explore the potential of impact investment in its contribution to financing sustainable development.
